So I could get a badass workout in, then refeed with my Thanksgiving meal.
Whenever I own my own gym, I will make sure this happens. Gym will be open from 5am until 10am.
Friday morning workout. Nobody in the gym. Love it
about to go blast shoulders.
Then getting ready for some PIRATE FOOTBALL at 7pm against UTEP!
You know what that means…. gym time baby.
Ready to go hit some weight after a couple of days off! Shoulder Day
Felt great to get back in the gym this morning after what seems like 2 weeks off. I’ve lost a lot of strength, but I will get it back! Could only get 225 once on barbell bench… used to be able to get it 4-5 times. But I’ll get it back to 5 reps in 2 weeks.
Also, just found out my gym WILL be open on the 4th. I was hoping that it would be. Now I can get a good weight lifting session, and take my time since I’m off from work. And then knock out a 3-5 mile run afterward.
It feels good to be back.
It was definitely fun, and very good to get away for a few days, but I’ll be back at the gym tomorrow. I’ve missed it.
I have not missed working though, and will not be looking forward to that.
And we got to see our puppy today. He is 4 weeks old. We are going to be able to take him home when he’s 8 weeks.

So… this morning, I received what I consider one the best compliments that I have received. Definitely not the best, but maybe in my top 10.
I had a random guy come up to me in the gym this morning, probably in his late 40’s, and he started asking ME what supplements I took. He began to tell me what kind of protein shakes he took, and asked if I did the same. He said he was curious because “you definitely have some muscle size in your arms and shoulders”.
BAM! Made my morning right there. I guess I’m doing something right.
and I am up and awake at 7:20am. This is somewhat sleeping in for me since I’m usually up at 5:15am every morning.
Oh well…. I plan to hit the gym today to give myself a bday present….. some sore LEGS
