I need to run by the grocery store on my lunch break

Need to pick up some almond milk so I can make my protein pancakes this weekend!

This is what I’ll be using:

4 egg whites

2 eggs

1 cup oats

1TBS honey

1 banana

2 teaspoons peanut butter

2 scoops of whey protein (chocolate or vanilla)

half cup of unsweetened almond milk

BLEND AND GO

makes around 12 pancakes

Early morning protein shake. Gotta represent my Tar Heels!

Post-workout shake

Definitely needed after killing legs. Squats, Leg Press, calf raises, lunges.  5 sets each. Can barely walk

Ultimate Compliment

So… this morning, I received what I consider one the best compliments that I have received. Definitely not the best, but maybe in my top 10.

I had a random guy come up to me in the gym this morning, probably in his late 40’s, and he started asking ME what supplements I took. He began to tell me what kind of protein shakes he took, and asked if I did the same. He said he was curious because “you definitely have some muscle size in your arms and shoulders”.

BAM! Made my morning right there. I guess I’m doing something right.

So I made this little concoction after my run tonight. It tasted so good.

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
1 cup silk unsweetened almond milk
Added a little water

That’s it!

So I ran tonight, was only planning to do 1 mile, but ended up feeling good so I extended it to two miles. Did them at a 10 min pace too!

I’ll see how I feel in the morning. I was planning on running again, but I might just lift legs? What do you guys think I should do?
