Felt great to get back in the gym this morning after what seems like 2 weeks off. I’ve lost a lot of strength, but I will get it back! Could only get 225 once on barbell bench… used to be able to get it 4-5 times. But I’ll get it back to 5 reps in 2 weeks.
Also, just found out my gym WILL be open on the 4th. I was hoping that it would be. Now I can get a good weight lifting session, and take my time since I’m off from work. And then knock out a 3-5 mile run afterward.
It feels good to be back.
yeah I’m heading straight to the bench. man I’ve missed this, and its only been a week!
So today was circuit day. Well actually, I’ve done circuits all this week, and will be for the next 2 weeks.
Treadmill was a little HIIT, then the weight exercises were circuit. Performed with no rest in between, 20 seconds rest after each round.
The circuit was in this order: Dumbbell Bench, Bent over rows, Dumbell Shoulder press, Dumbbell curls, kick backs.
Tracked a workout for 1,023 pts
So I really want to start taking my training to the next level. I want to lift heavier, get stronger, and then lean out before summer. So I think I’m going to do a legit bulk starting January 1st. I’m going to try and do this as clean as possible, by eating a lot of clean foods. And then I’ll do a legit cut prior to summer.
I’m thinking about starting another blog to track all my workouts and stuff. What do you guys think?
I hate the fact that my gym is closed on Sundays. But I guess it provides me with a much needed day off, even if I don’t want to.
Hitting chest this morning, maybe going for a run at lunch or either after work.
